The Name
Mansukh means
“Peace of Mind.”

In Punjabi, Mansukh — Sukhi’s full name — translates to “Peace of Mind.” POM stands for exactly that. The company isn’t a branding exercise. It’s named after the meaning of her name.

Sukhi is a licensed trauma therapist with 7 years of experience working with children, teens, and adults. She’s the clinical backbone — every tool, every insight, every prompt is grounded in real research and real sessions.

Amar is a clinical counseling student with ADHD and anxiety who took the long way here — and builds the technology. Together, they started POM Therapy Collective, then built POMWELL — because therapy shouldn’t stop when the session ends.


The winding path
was the point.

Most founders have a clean narrative. Ours isn’t. It’s messy, non-linear, and that’s exactly why it works. Mental health isn’t a straight line either.

“I grew up Sikh near Sacramento where nobody talked about mental health. I studied human biology and dropped out. Tried sales, real estate — nothing clicked. Then I found therapy, and for the first time, the career found me.”

The Start

Found therapy. Started a master’s in clinical mental health counseling. 4.0 GPA. Finally home.

Moved across the country. Started POM Therapy Collective with Sukhi. Taught himself to code. Built the practice first.

Is POMWELL a therapy app?
No. POMWELL is a general wellness tool designed to support your mental health journey between sessions. It’s built by therapists to feel clinical-grade, but it’s not a substitute for professional care. Think of it as the best possible companion between appointments.
How does the AI work? Is my data safe?
Our AI analyzes your journal entries to identify emotions, patterns, and stressors using clinical frameworks. You must explicitly opt-in before any data is sent to AI services. Your data is processed securely via Google Vertex AI and is never used to train AI models. You can withdraw consent anytime in Settings.
What platforms is POMWELL available on?
POMWELL is currently available on iOS (via TestFlight beta) and Android (internal testing). We’re also accessible as a web app at pomwell.app. The full public launch is coming soon — join the beta to get early access.
What do beta testers get?
Beta testers get lifetime premium access to all features, a direct line to the founding team, and the ability to shape what we build next. You’re not just testing — you’re co-creating the product with us.
Can I use POMWELL alongside my therapist?
Absolutely. POMWELL was designed to complement therapy, not replace it. Many of our tools — thought reframing, emotion tracking, gratitude journaling — are commonly assigned as therapy homework. Your data stays private, but you can share insights with your therapist if you choose.
What if I’m in crisis?
If you’re in crisis, please contact emergency services (911) or the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline (988). POMWELL includes crisis resource links throughout the app. We are a wellness tool, not an emergency service.
